Here are some of my most recent projects.

I made these pants a few years ago when I was a little heavier, but they still fit well today.  They are a plaid, a little stretchy, and the most comfy pair of pants I own.  I didn't alter much here, just left off the belt loops because belts are not comfortable on my middle-age waistline!

I was so excited at the impending birth of my first - and probably only grandchild!  I immediately got to work!

Shawl-type jacket and walking shorts for my younger sis

I fell in love with this blouse when I saw it in a fashion magazine.  I looked for the pattern and found one that was very similar, so I did my usual Rita thing and altered it.  I love the way it turned out.  See the photo attached to the bottom of the pattern.

I fell in love with this vintage fabric that I found at a thrift store, and I thought it would be perfect for a vintage-style blouse.  It is so soft!

A vintage 1940s Vogue Jacket:

I adore strange ideas, and this is one of the strangest I've seen, but I really love the way it looks on!  Too bad this fabric was so itchy.  I ended up putting it in the goodwill bag, but I will definitely make this top again, out of a cotton knit.  It is Vogue V8793.  Those are zipper teeth sewn along the edge of a collar inside a collar.  Very cool!
